My family room was very nice.
The restaurant, Le Savoir, was delicious, but it took over an hour to get our starters.
Breakfast was complicated because the receptionist only served half a breakfast, so there was nothing left to eat, and we had to wait over 15 minutes for it to be replenished, leaving us very little time to eat.
4/5
An excellent hotel with a good pool for a very affordable price. Bed, room, air conditioning, and Wi-Fi were all fine.

Cons: the breakfast was disappointing, limited, and not well-presented. Also, a bathroom with disposable plastic soaps and shampoos is outdated.
5/5
The welcome was incredibly warm and friendly, both at the hotel and in the restaurant. The rooms were spacious and comfortable.

The frog legs were excellent, their specialty. The portions were generous.

A truly excellent establishment: impeccable service, frogs' legs cooked to perfection, and dessert, a huge and succulent vacherin. I highly recommend it. A very enjoyable experience. 😃👍

We spent three days at Les Bergeronnettes, a hotel we stumbled upon on a booking website. We don't regret our choice at all! The room (actually a suite with two bedrooms) was enormous, much to the delight of our two and five-year-old children. The swimming pool is a real bonus for families, the meals are delicious, and the staff is welcoming and attentive throughout our stay. The hotel is peaceful, nestled in nature, and we truly loved our stay. We highly recommend it.

The best hikes in the Bauges Regional Natural Park

Between its alpine lakes and pristine peaks, the Bauges Regional Natural Park offers an exceptional playground for hiking enthusiasts.

Located between Annecy, Aix-les-Bains, and Chambéry, this mountain range is renowned for its diverse landscapes and rich flora and fauna.

Here is a selection of the most beautiful hikes to try during your stay.

Exceptional panoramas for all levels

Mont Revard: an accessible classic

Ideal for a first-time hiker, Mont Revard offers accessible trails with spectacular views of the Aix-les-Bains valley and Lake Bourget.

On a clear day, the view extends to Mont Blanc, offering an unforgettable panorama.

Le Semnoz: between alpine pastures and forests

Very popular with families, the Semnoz mountain combines forest trails with vast alpine pastures. Easily accessible, this family-friendly resort offers a natural setting all the way to the summit.

The Croix du Nivolet

Perched at 1,547 meters altitude, the Croix du Nivolet overlooks the entire Chambéry valley.

This iconic Savoyard landmark is accessible to both families and experienced hikers.

Several routes are recommended to reach the site. We suggest those from Le Sire (the easiest) or Maison Brûlée (the most direct).

Routes for experienced hikers

The Pointe d’Arcalod: the iconic summit

An iconic peak in the Bauges massif, the Pointe d’Arcalod rises to 2,217 meters.

This challenging hike is for experienced walkers, but the effort is richly rewarded by a 360° panoramic view of the Alps and Mont Blanc.

The starting point is the Nant Fourchu parking area near Ecole-en-Bauges.

Mont Pécloz: Wild and Unspoiled

Less frequented, Mont Pécloz is a gem for lovers of unspoiled nature.

This giant of the Bauges massif is climbed via the Armène valley and descended via its northwest ridge.

The route is wild and offers numerous viewpoints overlooking the Bauges mountains.

Nature Walks in the Heart of an Authentic Region

The Bellevaux Valley: Nature and Serenity

This protected site is perfect for a peaceful hike.

Between its waterfalls, meadows, and forests, the Bellevaux valley offers a delightful trail leading to the ruins of the village of La Chapelle.

The Margériaz Plateau: Between Geology and Adventure

Known for its spectacular limestone formations, the Margériaz Plateau, at an altitude of 1,890 meters, offers fun and unique trails.

At the end of the day, you can admire the sunset from one of the contemplative armchairs perched on the edge of the cliff.

A truly magical experience!
